Sarah-Rose Meredith is an award-winning writer/director who graduated from NYU’s MFA Film Program.  She goes by S-R.

S-R's thesis film PLAN B, about a couple racing through the desert in search of emergency contraception, won the SAGINDIE Audience Choice award at the DGA, the Wasserman Award for Best Directing at NYU’s First Run film fest, as well as awards in Screenwriting, Cinematography and Producing. It has screened at festivals around the globe, including Clermont-Ferrand International FF, Cairo FF, and was a recipient of the Rising Star Award at Canada International Film Festival.

She co-wrote the feature film EYES IN THE SKY, about a young woman who uses drones to search for her missing father, which received a writing grant from the Sloan Foundation, and was also a finalist for their feature production grant.

She has directed for illy Coffee, creating a large amount of engaging videos and stills for their social media and web pages. She has also directed for TED talks. Editing credits include VICE, HGTV, Travel Channel & musician Aimee Mann.

S-R loves travel and adventure. When shooting her thesis film she brought a cast and crew of 30 to the middle of the desert, and they all primitive-camped while making the film. Despite a freak flood, causing immediate evacuation of their camp, everyone survived and the film was made. She visits somewhere new every year, usually while rugged camping.

She is currently developing her narrative feature, I-80 WEST, a post-apocalyptic road movie about two strangers racing from NYC to Salt Lake City to find their families after a supervirus wipes out most of humanity. It was a finalist for the Richard Vague production grant.
